About ME
I relate to myself firstly as a spiritual being, and while here, Earth-side, I’ve been given the opportunity to embody the multiplicity of gender, sexuality, race, and culture as a two-spirit Mestizo with primarily Yoeme (Yaqui), Mexican, Spanish, and Scottish ancestries. I’m also a transracial adoptee connected to a lineage of Indigenous adoptees separated from family, land, and culture by way of the U.S. child welfare system. Navigating these many worlds has shaped my path as a practitioner of curanderismo, Dharma teacher, psychotherapist, writer, and ceremonial song-carrier.
1:1 Offerings
People often find their way here through retreats, ceremonies, Dharma gatherings, or through the reflections I share in my writing. Sometimes those spaces of practice and inquiry open the door to continuing the work in a more personal way. For those seeking that kind of support, I offer one-to-one work as a space for deeper reflection, mentorship, and integration. These offerings provide thoughtful accompaniment for the spiritual, emotional, and relational processes that unfold along the path.

Preparation is a vital foundation for any encounter with sacred plant medicines. In our work together, we explore intentions, emotional readiness, and any questions, concerns, or life transitions that may be present. This process helps cultivate right relationship with the medicines themselves and with the wider web of life from which they arise. Many of these medicines come from ancient ceremonial and ancestral traditions. Approaching them with humility, care, and reverence honors those lineages while preparing the inner ground needed to meet the experience with clarity and openness. In this way, preparation itself becomes part of the journey — an offering of sincerity and respect that helps open the space for the profound teachings and blessings these medicines may bring.

Whether you feel scared, lost, inspired, or energized following a sacred plant medicine journey, there is always choice in how the path unfolds from here. Integration is a living process through which insight, healing, and meaning can gradually take root in one’s life. Over the years I’ve come to see that integration is often the most neglected aspect of work with entheogens. Yet one of the deepest ways we can be in reciprocity with these medicines — and with the cultures, lineages, and ecosystems that steward them — is to take seriously the healings, blessings, and insights they offer. My role is to walk alongside you in that process, honoring your own inner authority while helping create space for those teachings to be lived and embodied over time.

Embodying a spiritual life is demanding and often initiatory work. At times it can feel lonely, as the path continually asks us to shed old identities and move through one threshold after another into ways of being that are both ancient and emerging. Yet we are not meant to walk this path alone. As a Dharma teacher and practitioner of curanderismo, I would not be where I am today without the teachers, elders, and companions who mirrored the path back to me and held me accountable along the way. In that same spirit, I offer spiritual mentorship as a space for reflection, grounding, and honest accompaniment. Rather than imposing a particular tradition or framework, my approach supports people in cultivating an authentic expression of their own spiritual, cultural, and ancestral inheritance. Whether navigating a spiritual emergence or deepening an established practice, I offer guidance to help cultivate clarity, accountability, and integrity on the path.

Upcoming Events
OCTOBER 2026
This retreat is a living Dharma laboratory—an immersive week of contemplative practice and collective inquiry at a time of profound global transition. Our mornings will follow the Sacred Mountain Sangha rhythm of practice—insight meditation, Kuan Yin bowing, chanting, ritual, and Dharma reflection—grounding us in silence, awareness, and compassion. Afternoons will open into more interactive spaces of dialogue, healing modalities, and creative inquiry exploring how contemplative practice can inform our engagement with the converging crises of our time. Emerging from the year-long Rhizome Fellowship Culture Hack training, this gathering invites participants into the unfolding work of Liberation Spirituality: cultivating pathways of justice, regeneration, and deep belonging with one another and the living Earth.
